The Woodfordia Mail | QFF Sponsorship Task Force Report

The Queensland Folk Federation (QFF) published its programme of the Woodford Folk Festival, featuring The Dreaming, in October 2011. Soon after, a protest campaign appeared on its Facebook pages attacking the Woodford Folk Festival.

The protest attacked the Woodford Folk Festival because in its program book, the logo of Santos, a mining corporation with interest in coal seam gas (CSG), was featured as a sponsor under The Dreaming Festival’s list of sponsors (Attachment D).

Hey, you know what we need? A Jeep. I mean, I didn’t think we needed one, but now that I’ve seen footage of one driving fast in between watching Stephanie Rice swim and Bradley Wiggins cycle, I think we really need one! First thing tomorrow, I’m going to go out and buy a jeep! Also, for dinner we’re having McDonald’s because they’re advertising it during the Olympics and that means it must be good for you. I bet Stephanie Rice eats Big Macs every day!
